Yeah but here's another interesting thing, back then when 3D land was in development and the Tanooki's return was talked about and if others will come back they said they were "Testing each costume to see if they fit rather than making their own choices of what returned", but when you look at 3D land, only Tanooki returned with a new Boomerang suit, this is a stretch and i can be wrong but MAYBE they were talking about NSMB2 instead or atleast is doing that? with it meaning it was long in dev.

I am already 100+ hours into this game and I thought it is one of the most amazing RPGs I've played... EPIC story, wonderful likeable un-angsty cast, beautiful music, excellent English translation helped brought to life by stellar voice acting, SUPER imaginative worlds (the Valak Mountains at night--FUCK I was blown away at how beautifully imaginative it was on such a simple execution), and a super addictive battle system! Then what about the people in Europe who say Xenoblade is one of the greatest RPGs of all time? They didn't have to campaign to get the game brought over but they still love it. What about the Japanese audience that voted Xenoblade the 6th best game? Nintendo ever made? I don't think they pretend the game is amazing to fool themselves. Pretty much a over-hyped jrpg oh well, let hope that the last story at least live up to it hype. The game itself is't as good as it predecessors games Xenogear and the xenosaga trilogy which had much better story and gameplay. The only thing this game is worth for is the Soundtrack compose by kingdom heart's shimomura and The open world to explore. This game is just as? bad as final fantasy X good battle system but shit levaling system and a nonsesical story.

Everyone's got an opinion. I'm going to be honest, when I first tried? Xenoblade I didn't like it either. I thought it was frustrating, confusing, and stupid. Which is seriously disappointing considering how excited I was for it. But I learned how to play, stuck it out and pulled through, upgraded my characters and got better at the combat. Now I really appreciate it and am enjoying it much more then I was originally. Its all about taste, not everyone is going to like the same thing as you.

It's because you haven't played? much of it. Just like any other JRPG, you can only do so little and the story doesn't sound great at first because you're just at the beginning of the game. So can I. But just because the graphics look dated does not mean they look crappy. Game developers are always able to make appealing visuals with the limitation of hardware. Yes, the polygon count, texture quality, etc. in Xenoblade is low compared to many of today's games, but the creatures and environments are varied and creative, and do? look good. I also don't understand why you dislike the gameplay, but no need to start a debate over differing opinions.

That is the difference between fantasy and reality. Fantasy doesn't have to be logical or? follow a sequence of technological advancement that we have experienced in the real world. They use swords because sword are awesome.
