Galil AR is my service rifle ..i have never had any problems with it ...even with blanks ,and the selector moves smoothly even when using 1? on the pistol grip.. it looks the same as the original ...but the reliabilty and the quality is poor

I used a Sako Rk95-Tp (7.62x39mm) during my FDF servie for 6 months, I never got a failure to feed or to shoot. Even with blanks. It had great accuracy to 300 meters and outstanding to 100meters both with iron sights. Rk95 is basically a high end AK deriditave, it's based heavily on the rk62 which was created based on an AK. So it's basically what ever the gun is based on be it? the AR or the AK series the important thing is how it was made and with what materials & how it's maintained.

a term used reference to the bolt/bolt carrier. When a bolt is in battery, it will fire when the trigger? is pulled. Not good if it fires out of battery.

well what im saying is u probably wouldn't use tullammo .223 in a 1200$ bushmaster ar-15 (for? example) , however that same dirty old nonreloadable ammo could be used no prob in this Galil especially if its damaging the shell upon ejection.

7.62x51=7.62x54R>5.56=or>5.45>7.62x39>throwing a rock. that is a comparison in terms of anti personal. in terms of range/accuracy(less drop and wind travel) the 7.62x54R is the best. in terms of busting through materials like walls, in the case of intermediate rounds, the 7.62x39 is better. so consider that. I say you should get a VEPR rifle or just anything not actually MADE? by CAI

depends on the AR mate. though i hate the system since it is NOT ergonomic for me. i must say most reliability claims are BS. some are true but it depends? on the manufacturer and design of the AR. there are various configurations and some are far better like taking a WASR GP10 up against a Russian military AKM or a tantal against an AKS-74U(or AK-74 i cant remember which one it more closely resembles)

the Kalashnikov design is perfect for its intended use. however the nations that manufacture the firearm will impact heavily on its reliability. for example the WASR is built from literally defective parts. well maybe not so much defective as "per military regulation" but still its? built from a scrap pile of pieces that would not meet Romanian military standards. then when we get them they are built from parts kits, from these lesser civilian models. people should opt for Russ. or Yugo.
